On December 2, 2014, at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, the Minister of Culture, Mikheil Giorgadze, visited the G. Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation. The Minister conducted a detailed review of the Center’s infrastructure, met with its research fellows, outlined the Ministry’s future strategic plans, and pledged his full support for the implementation of any compelling upcoming projects or concepts. During his visit, the Minister also examined the Center’s scholarly publications and toured an exhibition of paintings and graphic works dedicated to the centenary of the prominent Georgian artist David (Duda) Gabashvili.
