The co-participating and co-funding institutions are the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz (Max Planck Institute), the Seminar for Art History at the University of Basel, and the Chair of Medieval Art History at the University of Fribourg. Additionally, the National Centre of Manuscripts and the National Museum are partner organizations. The primary funding body is the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (Grant No. MG_ISE_18_2142).<\/p><p>Within the framework of the seasonal school, an exhibition was opened, highlighting the Chubinashvili Centre&#8217;s contributions to the study of Tao-Klarjeti&#8217;s heritage. A photographic exhibition by Dr. Tamaz Dvali, a researcher at the Centre, was also organized. As part of the project, a public lecture titled <strong><em>The Wall Paintings of Ishkhani<\/em><\/strong> by Prof. Barbara Schellewald of the University of Basel is scheduled.<\/p><p>The seasonal school will operate in Georgia as well as in northeastern Turkey, where participants will examine the immovable and movable monuments of Tao-Klarjeti&#8217;s cultural heritage on-site. The program will conclude in Tbilisi on September 16, and on September 18, it will resume its sessions in Bern at the International Forum on Medieval Art.
