The photographic exhibition Tbilisi -The Recent Past<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> organized by the Sergo Kobuladze Laboratory for the Documentation of Art Monuments, was held at the Centre\u2019s exhibition hall Ars Georgica<\/em> from 27.10.17 to 26.11.17.<\/p>

The exhibition featured rare photographic materials preserved in the archive collection of the laboratory. It presented images of Georgia\u2019s capital captured during the 1980s and 1990s by Georgian photographers. Photography was presented both as history and as memory. As parallel material, the exhibition also displayed views of Tbilisi photographed during the same period by the renowned photographers Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson while travelling in the city.<\/p>

Most of the photographs exhibited were shown to the wider public for the first time at this exhibition.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
