The Fund has dedicated a specialized webpage to the monument (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wmf.org\/project\/oshki\">http:\/\/www.wmf.org\/project\/oshki<\/a>) and has prepared and published a corresponding promotional poster.<\/p><p>Headquartered in New York, the World Monuments Fund has published a biennial list of endangered cultural heritage sites worldwide since 1996. The organization calls upon relevant global bodies, governments, donors, and the mass media to collaborate in rescuing these landmarks. Following intervention by the WMF, eighty per cent of these sites have undergone restoration or conservation.<\/p><p>This year, sixty-seven sites from forty countries were selected, including the Oshki Cathedral. The spokesperson for the project is Irene Giviashvili, a researcher at the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation.
