of a Memorandum of Understanding concluded between the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia and the Ministry of Climate and Environment of Norway, the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia and the Directorate for Cultural Heritage of Norway (<em>Riksantikvaren<\/em>) hosted an international seminar titled <strong><em>Sustainable Development of Old Tbilisi: Challenges and Opportunities.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>The purpose of the seminar was to examine the development issues concerning the historic districts of Old Tbilisi, drawing upon Norwegian experience in the field of cultural heritage.<\/p><p>Mariam Didebulidze, Director of the George Chubinashvili Centre, participated in the seminar proceedings and delivered a paper titled <strong>&#8216;The New Life of Old Tbilisi&#8217;<\/strong>, which reviewed the activities of the Tbilisi City Hall in the field of urban heritage preservation.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2883fb5 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\"
