From the Aegean to the Black Sea \u2013 Medieval Ports in the Maritime Routes of the East&#8221; (2012\u20132013; scientific and research institutions from Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, and Ukraine, along with the G. Chubinashvili National Research Centre, participate in the project). In 2011, the project secured a grant in the first call for proposals conducted within the framework of the Black Sea Basin Cross-Border Cooperation Programme (Black Sea Joint Operational Programme). The lead organization is the European Centre for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments in Thessaloniki. The participants in the project from the G. Chubinashvili National Research Centre are: D. Khoshtaria (Manager), K. Mikeladze (Academic Director), N. Natsvlishvili, and I. Mania.
