Chubinashvili Institute of History of Georgian Art.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Since 1958 she worked at the same Institute as a researcher. Since 1963 she was a member of Georgian Artists\u2019 Union. In\u00a0 1967-1973 she lectured at Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts, \u00a0Faculty of Art History. Since 1978 she worked at the Main Board for Protection of Monuments of History and Culture of Georgia as a Senior Researcher and Head of the Department.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">In\u00a0 1992-1993 she was a Member of Directorate of \u00a0Sh. Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts and \u00a0since 1996 \u2013 Director of the \u201cBetania\u201d Centre for Scientific Research of Painting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">E. Privalova participated in the I (Bergamo, Italy, 1974), III (Bari-Leche, Italy, 1980) and IV (Tbilisi, Georgia, 1983) International Symposia on Georgian Art, as well as in the Conference on Greek and Georgian Art (Patmos, Greece, 1981), Conference dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the Studenica Monastery (Belgrade, Jugoslavia, 1986), also in the seminar \u2013 \u201cByzantium and Georgia\u201d (Athens, Greece, 1990) and in the International Symposium \u2013 \u201cMount Athos Art of the Byzantine Period\u201d (Thessaloniki, Greece, 1997).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">E. Privalova was an honorary\u00a0 member of ICOMOS Georgian National Committee, IOFA and Greek Christian Archaeology Society, a Chief Consultant for the International Art Centre Program \u201cSave Kintsvisi Frescoes\u201d and an active member of all the programmes dedicated to the restoration and conservation of the medieval Georgian monuments.
