The George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation hosted a visit from the family members of the late Rusudan Pipia (1936–1994), a former dedicated staff member of the Centre. Through their generous financial support, the archival documents have been processed and cataloged, and the archival collection space has been fully renovated.
The archival work was carried out throughout 2024, led by Nodar Aronishidze and Salome Buchukuri, staff members of the Archival Department.
The collection currently comprises the personal archives of 24 prominent researchers. These archival documents include biographical materials, records of public activity, academic papers, sketches, technical drawings, photographic negatives, and various other historical items.
The Centre expresses its profound gratitude to the family of Rusudan Pipia for their financial support of this vital project.
