A personal exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of artist Nodar Aptsiauri, along with the presentation of a book showcasing his artistic legacy, was held at the exhibition hall “Ars Georgica” of the Giorgi Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation.
The exhibition featured paintings and graphic works created by Nodar Aptsiauri during different periods of his career. It also presented caricatures, cartoons, and other graphic works that are less familiar to the wider public.
The event included the presentation of a 272-page bilingual book-album, which for the first time brings together the major directions of the artist’s extensive creative work, including painting, graphics, sculpture, artistic glass, decorative and applied arts, jewelry, ex libris works, archival photographs, and scholarly texts on art.
The book was published with the support of Tbilisi City Hall.
