The George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation hosted the presentation of the volume titled Unknown Urban Heritage of Old Tbilisi, authored by researchers Manana Suramelashvili and Tsitsino Chachkhunashvili.
The publication is dedicated to the comprehensive study of Lado Gudiashvili Square and its surrounding historical district. Presenting the outcomes of recent field investigations, the book uncovers previously undocumented specimens of urban and architectural heritage, thereby providing critical source material for the historiography of Old Tbilisi.
The volume was prepared by the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation, with the support of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
