The exhibition was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the artist Jemal Lolua. Jemal Lolua (1932–2001) was a representative of the so-called generation of the 1950s in Georgian visual art. He played a significant role in the development of twentieth-century Georgian easel graphics. Particularly noteworthy is the artist’s contribution to book graphics, poster art, caricature, typography, and ex–libris design.
