On December 11–12, 2014, a scholarly conference was held to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Academician Vakhtang Beridze. The conference thematic scope encompassed diverse issues within historical, modern, and contemporary architecture and art. Within the framework of the event, a book launch was held for Vakhtang Beridze’s landmark publication, The History of Georgian Architecture. This two-volume monograph dedicated to Georgian architecture was published for the first time, making it accessible to readers interested in historical Georgian architecture.
Concurrently, an exhibition featuring caricatures drawn by Vakhtang Beridze was organized in the Center’s exhibition hall.
