The G. Chubinashvili National Research Centre solemnly commemorated the centenary of the birth of Academician Vakhtang Beridze, one of the primary founders of the Institute of Georgian Art History. On May 30, 2014, a commemorative jubilee evening was held in the Small Hall of the Rustaveli Theatre. Concurrently, on June 2, a celebratory academic session was convened at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.
